Weight management

L-carnitine, CLA, glucomannan, green tea extract and caffeine blends: composition, dose per serving and price.

This section holds L-carnitine, CLA, glucomannan, garcinia and blends with caffeine and green tea extract. The EU authorises one claim about body weight: glucomannan, in the context of an energy-restricted diet, contributes to weight loss when 3 g a day are taken in three doses with water before meals.

The other substances have no authorised claims, so we promise no results and compare composition and doses instead. On caffeine products, check the caffeine per serving.

FAQ

Do these supplements help with weight loss?

The EU authorises a claim only for glucomannan: within an energy-restricted diet, 3 g a day in three doses with water before meals. Other substances have no claims.

How much caffeine is in a serving?

The caffeine per serving is on each product's page. Do not combine several caffeine products with coffee.

What is the difference between L-carnitine and CLA?

L-carnitine is a compound derived from amino acids, CLA is a form of linoleic acid. Neither has an EU-authorised claim about body weight.
